I know this is old news, but I was really thinking about this today. Remember on Saturday Night Live, when Natalie Portman teamed up with the Lonely Island for the self titled “Natalie Portman Rap”? Now I’m all about throwing out DAP where ever it seems necessary, and this is definitely deserving of it. Natalie Portman is an extremely talented actor. I love Garden State, and V for Vendetta. I think she came out of her shell a bit by agreeing to perform this song for the country to hear.

I’m sure a lot of people who don’t respect comedy genies were offended by all the fucks, shits, and sexual innuendos. I thought it showed that Natalie Portman is not afraid to extend her roles into the realm of comedy. Just because she graduated from Harvard, and likes The Shins doesn’t mean she can’t test the waters of comedic role playing. I think she was part of the best Lonely Island song on their album. I listen to it more than “I’m on a Boat”, and “Dick In a Box”. Andy Samberg has a nack of getting A-List Celebrities to be a part of the Lonely Island songs. I have a lot of respect for these people who agree to shed their images and do something that people will laugh at.

Thanks for doing this Natalie, I love you. Please make more songs with the Lonely Island and More great movies. I can’t wait until you team up with Franco haha.
